I just started lamisil for toe nail fungus… This is my first day, so I don’t really have much to say yet, but I’ll keep you all posted. I have really bad fungi on 4 toe nails on my left foot. The skin on that foot cracks often and is a bit reddened most of the time on the tops of the toes. ( the cracking is on the bottom) I am on 250 mg lamisil once daily.

I am desperately wanting the terbinafine to work as I have been suffering for a long time using different treatments without good results. My hands and feet are sooo embarrasing to me. I am praying it works to clear all of my nail beds. I will keep posted. Started treatment 2/28/12

I am experiencing this fungus on both my fingernails and toes. I just got a prescription today to start taking the medication. I am definitely going to keep you guys posted of my progress. This fungus is not only annoying but it is also embarrassing. I was also told to mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle and spray my toes and fingers after taking a shower or bath. In addition I have been using a topical solution called zeta clear which I have seen some slight results but not a lot. I am anxious to start my medication and hopeful that I will have clear nails by the summer!!!

I am taking the tablets for a finger nail infection. Can I still wear nail varnish, or will this hinder the cure time?

I have been on Lamisil for 2 months and the results are extremely noticeable!! I have not had any bad side effects. We’ll see what happens after I stop taking them.

You have to rid all your shoes and socks even you wash them

I was told to clean your shoes well, but maybe toss them out…?
And doc said never wear dirty socks.

I took the Lamisil pills for 12 weeks, I notice that the new nail growth coming in, but now after months, my left to nail has become infected again. Any suggestons???
